In this pivotal role, you'll deliver expert anesthesia services across a variety of surgical and procedural settings, ensuring top-notch patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesAnesthesia Administration: Safely administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.Pre-Anesthesia Assessment: Evaluate patients' medical history, perform physical exams, and create individualized anesthesia care plans.Intraoperative Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures to maintain patient stability.Post-Anesthesia Care: Oversee recovery from anesthesia, manage pain, and monitor for potential complications.Patient Education: Inform patients and families about the anesthesia process, associated risks, and post-procedure care.Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Emergency Response: Swiftly respond to anesthesia-related emergencies, providing necessary interventions.Education and Experience QualificationsCurrent New Mexico and federal DEA certificate.Current licensure to practice professional nursing in New Mexico.Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.Certification as a nurse anesthetist from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor.Current AHA Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Current AHA Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.Current New Mexico CRNA license.Why You'll Love Working With UsCompetitive CompensationComprehensive CoverageFuture PlanningGenerous Time OffProfessional Growth OpportunitiesInclusive Work EnvironmentReady to make a difference in patient care?
