The Opportunity: Consor is currently looking for a highly motivated Traffic Design Engineer with 1 to 3 years of Traffic design experience for the Traffic group in our El Paso, TX office. As a dynamic and growing engineering consulting firm, Consor is full of opportunities for career development. This EIT position has tremendous growth potential involving design of transportation structures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Project drafting
- Project design/review
- Collection of data/report writing
- Check plans/quality control
- Construction cost estimating
- Agency coordination
- Construction observation/field work
- Other miscellaneous duties as necessary
Required Credentials: - 0-3 years' experience in civil engineering
- Experience with computer applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Civil 3D and/or Traffic design software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to plan, schedule work and complete work assignments within established budgets and timelines
- Strong organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with people positively and effectively in all levels of organizations
- Sound ethical character
- Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university
- E.I.T. Certification
Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to general Traffic engineering design
