Tool Repair TechnicianAs a Tool Repair Technician, you will be at the forefront of our repair process. You will work collaboratively within a team environment, focusing on tool inspection, repair, and maintenance. This role requires regular interaction with customers and effective communication across departments to ensure timely and quality service.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect tools and equipment for defects or signs of damageDisassemble tools, diagnose issues, and identify faulty componentsRepair, Quality, and CalibrationPerform repairs on various power tools and hoistsReplace defective parts, including motors, gears, and electrical componentsReassemble and test tools to ensure proper functionalityClean tools and conduct quality checks to uphold safety and durability standardsPerform ISO/IEC 17025:2017 calibrationsCustomer CommunicationInteract professionally with customers to provide updates and gather repair-related informationERP Data EntryAccurately enter repair information into the ERP systemQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredSolid knowledge of tool mechanics and repair proceduresProficient in the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair machineryAbility to read and comprehend technical manualsStrong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems1–2 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment preferredPreferred Experience with the following tool types:Pneumatic toolsTransducer-controlled toolsControllersBattery tools (transducerized, clutch, etc.)ADE systemsHoistsSkills and CompetenciesExceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlinesDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationCommitment to maintaining high-quality standardsCompensationCompensation and position level will be based on experience.Full Benefit Package Including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
