Safety Technician

Our client, an agricultural industry leader, is seeking a Safety Technician to join their team. As a Safety Technician, you will be part of the harvest operations supporting safety and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong observation skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Switz City, IN

Pay Range: $22.00 on 1st shift, $25.00 on 2nd shift

Shift: 1st shift, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 2nd shift, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Will train on day shift for 2 weeks)

What's the Job?

• Conduct routine and detailed line audits across harvest operational areas
• Identify unsafe behaviors, hazards, and at-risk conditions
• Document findings and communicate observations to relevant personnel
• Actively intervene when unsafe acts or conditions are observed
• Support safety program initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds
• Good communication and people skills
• Basic understanding of workplace safety principles
• Experience with computers and ability to read/write in English
