Job Title: RN - PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: Seasonal Travel Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Description: Seasonal travel opportunity for an RN in the PACU. Candidates should have critical care experience and/or PACU experience. Patient ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients, with same-day surgery patients possibly having up to 3 at a time. The department includes various specialties and is equipped with advanced monitoring equipment. Staffing follows established guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care. Diverse surgical procedures are performed in this unit, including high neuro volume cases and interventional radiology. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and an outgoing personality.
