Certified Nurse Assistant / CNA
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $21-$25/hr.

Locations: Staten Island, Manhattan, The Bronx, and Westchester!

Position summary:
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide direct patient care and support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and hygiene. They monitor and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions, assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, and collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to support quality patient care and overall well-being.

• New grads and nurses with less than a year of experience are welcome to apply!!
  
  Responsibilities
  Schedule/Shift :
  All shifts available - 8-hour per day 7a-3pm

Key Duties :
Provide personal care and daily support, including toileting, feeding, hygiene, mobility assistance, transfers, positioning, and maintaining student safety and comfort throughout the school day.
Assist with classroom routines, learning activities, and implementation of IEP objectives under the direction of teachers and related service providers to promote student engagement and independence.
Monitor, document, and respond appropriately to student health and behavioral needs while maintaining confidentiality and following all school policies, protocols, and training guidelines.


Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

License and Certifications:

• Current CNA Certification
• BLS/CPR card

Skills

• Patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Vital signs monitoring
• Mobility, transfers, and positioning assistance
• Infection control and safety procedures
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Documentation and record keeping
• Feeding and nutrition assistance
• Toileting, bathing, and personal hygiene support.
• Observation and reporting of patient conditions.
• Team collaboration with nurses and healthcare staff.
• Compassion, patience, and empathy.
