Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract-based role is perfect for an experienced Physical Therapist passionate about supporting school-aged children and/or infants and toddlers in an educational environment near Baltimore, MD.

Available Opportunities:

• Extended School Year (ESY) Program:

  • In-person, Monday through Thursday only (June 29 – July 30).
  • 5-week program in Special Education and general education settings.
  • Hours are 9:30 am – 3:30 pm for Special Education; 8:00 am – 2:00 pm for general education.
  • Professional development on June 25th.
  • Up to 6 hours per day, 24 hours per week.

• Infants and Toddlers Services & Assessments:

  • In-person, Monday through Thursday (June 22 – July 30).
  • No services on Fridays.
  • Up to 7 hours per day, 28 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience with pediatric, school-based, or early intervention populations preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to work across varied educational environments.
• Ability to organize, schedule, and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services and evaluations in school or community-based settings.
• Collaboratively develop and implement IEP and IFSP-based goals.
• Partner with teachers, support staff, and families for comprehensive care.
• Document services and progress reports clearly and thoroughly.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.
