Overview The Barista is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team member who brings The Buttery’s beverage program to life- mastering our coffee, tea, and retail offerings while warmly sharing that knowledge with both guests and fellow staff. As a proud ambassador of The Buttery, this person helps to create a welcoming, high-quality customer experience and help foster a supportive, positive work environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve beverages to The Buttery’s standards while providing efficient, friendly service to every guest. Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a clean, organized bar area and restocking supplies and retail displays as needed. Uphold health, safety and quality standards , ensuring consistency in beverage execution. Contribute to a positive team culture by fostering respect, communication, and collaboration across the front-of-house team. Continue learning and growing through product education and by helping train new team members on service, culture, and procedures. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in high-volume coffee preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate with a great attitude and eagerness to learn. Background in customer service within food, beverage, or retail settings is a plus. Strong time management, communication, and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Passion for hospitality and a team-first mindset, with a genuine love for great food, drink, and creating welcoming guest experiences.
