We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Civil Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from civil design projects through construction. Compensation and Benefits: Expected Base Salary: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00, salary is based on experience. Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate. Competitive end of year discretionarybonus based on company/team/personal performance. Hybrid work schedule (subject to change). 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution. Qualifications Requirements Include: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university Certified Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the design of commercial, office, mixed-use, multi-family residential, education, municipal, and/or Federal projects Strong technical skills in site layout, grading and drainage, and site utility design Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of public improvement and grading plans, and earthwork calculations Ability to prepare Hydrology Studies, Stormwater Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs), and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) Experience working in the City and County of San Diego preferred Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surfaces and pipe networks Specification preparation experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills Additional Information Why You Want To Work Here Coffman Engineers is a company that truly focuses on its employees.
