Lead Domain Architect

We are seeking a Lead Domain Architect to serve as the operational counterpart to the Principal Architect, responsible for executing architecture across the Medicare Sales & Acquisition ecosystem. This role translates strategic architecture into implementable designs across domain, application, and data layers, ensuring delivery teams build scalable, compliant, and cloud-aligned solutions. This role focuses on service decomposition, API architecture, and cloud implementation, enabling modular, reusable capabilities that support omnichannel engagement, broker enablement, and direct-to-consumer experiences. **Key Responsibilities**: Translate cloud strategy into deployable patterns across AWS (or equivalent), including compute, storage, and event-driven architectures. Ensure solutions meet performance, resiliency, and AEP-scale requirements.Evaluate platforms and services for coupling, scalability, and cost. Support reduction of redundant capabilities and enforce separation between system of experience and system of record. * 8–12+ years in software architecture or senior engineering roles* Proven delivery of microservices and API-first architectures**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing* Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and API management platforms* Background in healthcare benefits, sales, or customer acquisition systems* Certifications: AWS/Azure Architect or equivalent**Education*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field* Master’s degree preferredOperate as a direct delegate for deep architectural work, artifact creation, and cross-team alignment.
