When you work for Sciolex Corporation, you are working for a stable company that values you and is committed to ensuring you receive the utmost employee care.Medical Support Assistant ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Support Assistant shall perform receptionist functions in support of Veterans Health Administration, including but not limited to:Screens and receives phone calls in a courteous and timely mannerResponds to telephone inquiries regarding delivery of servicesPerform appointment scheduling, tracking, pre- and post- appointment contacts as requiredReceive medical records and ensure all necessary health and administrative information are processed into the proper Records SystemsCoordinates and authorizes care with external community care providersAccess computers to utilize Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, and various electronic systemsProcess community care consults in associated electronic systemsEffectively communicates with internal and external medical providers, reception staff, patients, and other third partiesProvide friendly and quality customer service to all patients, patient families, office and medical staffVarious front desk administrative duties, as neededQualifications & Physical RequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED, or other equivalentKnowledge of basic medical terminologyMinimum of 6 months of customer service experienceAbility to type 50 WPMPossess basic computer skillsOral and written proficiency in EnglishSecurity RequirementsMust be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability ClearanceMust be a United States citizenPay Range: $16.50 - $18.00 HourlyAt Sciolex Corporation, our top priorities and most valuable resources are our employees, which is why we offer a competitive total compensation package.
