AI Software Engineering Manager (Python/AI/LLMS)

Our client is seeking an AI Software Engineer Manager to help lead the development of a greenfield AI platform that will serve as a centralized intelligence layer across a large ecosystem of digital products. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced engineering manager with expertise in AI/LLM technologies, Python development, and cloud-native architectures.Job Title: AI Software Engineer Manager (LLM / AI Platform)Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 Base + 15% BonusLocation: Hoboken, NJ (Hybrid | 2-3 Days Per Week Onsite)Required Skills & Experience5-10 years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years of engineering management experience.Strong backend development experience with Python.Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production.Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.Strong experience with AWS, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architecture.Experience building and scaling SaaS applications in either B2B or large-scale consumer environments.Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.Ability to remain hands-on with architecture, system design, and development (approximately 30% coding).Experience driving technical strategy, platform roadmap initiatives, and engineering best practices.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience managing distributed or offshore engineering teams.Experience scaling engineering organizations and hiring technical talent.Exposure to high-scale consumer or enterprise software platforms.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.If interested in learning more, please apply directly or reach out to Ryan Dwyer at View email address on click.appcast.io#LI-Hybrid
