- Collaborate with multiple departments, aligning differing priorities to achieve common project and production goals.
- Provide hands-on leadership and supervision when required to guide team members through builds, installations, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Occupational trade school qualification in an electrical-based field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NFPA 79, and UL508A codes.
- Proven experience in a production environment, particularly involving automation technology.
- Demonstrable hands-on skill in fault finding and problem resolution across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude for working with tooling, equipment, and automated systems.
- Experience building multiple control panels back to back while following complete drawing sets.
- PLC programming experience, including basic modification and troubleshooting of PLC logic.
- HMI programming experience to support automation interfaces and operator controls.
- Electrical schematic drawing experience and the ability to interpret and redline schematics.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to bring multiple departments together to achieve shared goals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, reporting, and presentations.
- Understanding of agile workflow and continuous improvement practices in a technical or production setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to lead and supervise a team in a hands-on environment.
- Troubleshooting skills in PLCs, automation systems, robotics, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from schematics and technical documentation.
- Experience with maintenance and repair of automated equipment and control systems.
- Occupational trade school qualification in an electrical-based field is highly advantageous.
- Exposure to robotics and automated machinery in a production or industrial setting.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors on panel builds, installations, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with 5S and other lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Comfort working across disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation, redlining, and design updates.
- Interest in working with cutting-edge automation and aerospace-related technologies.
