Client Operations Associate

Want to build the client services function at a growing investment platform from day one? Our client, a real estate investment firm, is hiring a Client Operations Associate , a role with direct exposure to the founding partners and clients, and the opportunity to build and eventually lead this function as the firm grows. You'll be the liaison between clients, the internal team, and the firm's outsourced service providers, making sure onboarding is seamless, communications are timely, and operations run smoothly behind the scenes. The role is hybrid in West LA. What You'll Own New-client onboarding: managing the closing calendar and subscription tracking, coordinating legal and compliance review, and setting up new client records and portal access Client relationship management: serving as a responsive, reliable point of contact for client questions, document requests, and portal troubleshooting CRM and investor portal administration: keeping client and advisor information accurate and current, with strict controls around any banking-detail changes Client communications: distributing periodic and ad hoc updates and ensuring documents are properly posted for each client Finance operations support: assisting with annual audit and tax preparation logistics, K-1 and statement delivery, and capital call/distribution notices General firm operations: vendor coordination, document management, compliance documentation, and entity filings support Fundraising support: maintaining prospect lists, preparing outreach materials, and coordinating data room access Client and prospect events: helping plan and execute from start to finish What You Bring 2+ years of client relations, investor services, or operations experience in financial services Strong track record managing client relationships with precise, professional communication Exceptional attention to detail and organization, comfortable tracking many moving parts across multiple accounts at once Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential information Comfort working across CRM, portal, and subscription-type systems, plus strong Excel skills A self-directed mindset suited to a lean, entrepreneurial environment We will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring. #J-18808-Ljbffr
