Location: Nellis AFB, NV, Virginia, United States Requisition Number: 28176 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt Anticipated Salary Range: $101,799.00-$150,000.00 Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain Level of Experience: Mid Who We Are HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a F-22 Fighter In A Box (FIAB) Software Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work on a team executing integration efforts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis AFB, NV to support the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) team. This position is part of a team that provides on-site Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support to establish and deliver high-end Advanced Tactics, Training, and Test capability for Government personnel operating under USAFWC/ACC. What You Will Do Provide on-site support of 31st Combat Training Squadron’s Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) training systems located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This role is a member of JSE Engineering Team and will focus primarily on the troubleshooting, configuration, optimization, and development of the F-22 FIAB for advanced synthetic test and training environments within JSE at the JITTC-N. Support JSE F-22 FIAB Daily Operations by monitoring simulator system performance. Troubleshoot JSE F-22 FIAB issues by reviewing FIAB source code and/or JSE Platform Plugin source code. Develop enhancements and optimize existing F-22 FIAB simulator system. Integrate JSE F-22 FIAB with other JSE and non-JSE platforms. Develop and assist with accurately reporting F-22 FIAB and JPP to deficiencies. What You Must Have 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Experience in Software Development and Software Design. Software Development Experience in F-22 FIAB source code, JSE Platform Plugin source code, or related experience. Proficiency working in a Linux command-line environment. Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills working independently and as part of a technical team. Strong work ethic and initiative to troubleshoot, address, and prevent problems on complex tasks and systems. Active Top Secret security clearance within the last 24 months. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and relevant SAP/SAR clearances. Bonus Points For Having Current DoD TS/SCI clearance. Knowledge of or experience with components of JSE or DoD training simulators. Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other productivity products. Candidates with math, computer science, engineering, operational research, or equivalent technical degree is desired.
