Strategy and Sales Operations Associate

August Robotics is an international startup that builds and deploys robots to automate business workflows. We are a global team with offices in the US, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, and China, backed by leading VC investors.

Our robots serve clients in the exhibition, construction, and industrial layout industries, and we are currently growing our team in the US.

THE ROLE

As a Strategy & Sales Operations Associate, you will be based in our Las Vegas office and work closely with our Commercial Manager to support US business growth and performance.

This is a broad, hands-on role combining business strategy and analysis with sales operations and execution. You will help evaluate opportunities, support commercial decision-making, and build the processes and systems that keep our sales organization running effectively.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Strategy & Analysis

• Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to support commercial strategy and business decisions
• Analyze sales, market, and financial data to identify trends and opportunities
• Build business cases and financial analyses to evaluate commercial opportunities
• Develop recommendations, presentations, and materials to support strategic projects and decision-making

Sales Operations & Coordination

• Support day-to-day sales operations and coordinate proposals, quotations, contracts, and other commercial documentation
• Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and sales activity in the CRM
• Track sales performance and key metrics to support forecasting and reporting
• Coordinate across teams and improve sales processes to help the commercial organization operate efficiently

YOUR SKILLS

What we are looking for:

• 1–3+ years of experience in business strategy, consulting, sales operations, business analysis, finance, or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations
• Commercial mindset and an interest in understanding how businesses grow and operate
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment

You must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field
• Eligibility to work in the US
• Ability to work full-time from our Las Vegas office

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting a B2B sales or commercial team
• Experience building financial models or business cases
• Experience in a startup, technology, construction, robotics, or industrial environment
