Maintenance MechanicThis position pays $28.48 per hour! We're looking for a full-time, Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas. As the Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright), here's the work you'll do:Maintains machines and equipment in efficient operating condition.Ability to dismantle, install or repair machines, power shafting, pulleys, jacks, and trucks to aid moving machinery.Sets up heavy machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.Performs maintenance and repairs of motor vehicles, fork trucks, trailers, etc.Scales and instruments calibrationAbility to weld during fabrication.This role is for you if you have these skills:Basic mathematics and measurement capabilitiesKnowledge of security regulations (ATF, DSS, Homeland Security)Ability to work independentlyEffective communication skillsAnd if you have these qualifications:High School and/or equivalent.3 years minimum experienceForkliftTo ensure a safe work environment while meeting the physical demands of the job, you must be able to perform the following physical and mental tasks, with or without a reasonable accommodation:Visual acuityBalancingStoopingReachingLifting motion or lifting objects more than 15 poundsWalkingRepetitive motion of any part of the bodyKneeling, crouching or crawlingPushing or pullingManual DexterityGraspingClimbingHearingTalkingCapacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time.Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.Expertise in:Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment.Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)Talent Acquisition Partner: Andrew Johnson
