Job Summary:

We are seeking a Craft Professional Communications Specialist to develop, execute, and report on communication and recruitment marketing initiatives that support the hiring engagement, and retention of craft professionals across Bechtel projects. This role serves as a key liaison between Corporate Affairs & Marketing and Labor Relations to ensure communications and marketing support hiring priorities, project workforce needs and workforce engagement objectives, while aligning with enterprise brand standards.

Major Responsibilities:

Recruitment Marketing & Social Media

• Develop and manage craft professional recruitment marketing and communications materials across social media, digital, print, and hiring events.
• Partner with project teams and Labor Relations to understand hiring priorities and translate workforce needs into targeted communications.
• Draft compelling recruitment messaging, employee stories, campaign content, graphics, and promotional materials. This includes social media-specific copywriting and content creation.
• Create and maintain integrated content calendars aligned with project hiring priorities, recruitment campaigns, hiring events, and workforce initiatives.
• Support employer branding initiatives that position Bechtel as an employer of choice for craft professionals.
• Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and platform best practices to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and candidate engagement.
• Support any craft professional communications and marketing campaigns and initiatives as needed.

Reporting & Analytics

• Track, analyze, and report on social media and recruitment marketing performance.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and project-specific reports on campaign effectiveness, audience growth, engagement, applicant activity, and recruitment outcomes.
• Use data and audience insights to optimize campaign performance and improve recruitment outcomes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, and 2-5 years of relevant experience in communications, recruitment marketing, workforce engagement, or a related function.
• Experience managing social media and digital campaigns, including content planning, reporting, and stakeholder approvals.
• Minimum 6-9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong written and editing skills in English, with demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong proficiency with Meta Business suite and standard communications tools, including social copywriting and content creation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with large-scale construction, industrial, energy, mining, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to advise and influence when needed.
