As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and following entry and exit procedures. Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site requirements, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support compliance with site policies. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
