Gynecologist

DescriptionChan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Gynecology-Only Physician to join our growing team. This physician will provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, while focusing exclusively on non-obstetric gynecologic practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to advancing women’s health within our rural community.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality, evidence-based gynecologic care for adult women, including:Annual exams and preventive health screeningsManagement of menstrual, menopausal, and reproductive health issuesDiagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions (benign and malignant)Minimally invasive procedures and other gynecologic surgeriesCollaborate with other specialists and primary care providers to coordinate patient careSupport two accomplished CRNPs who have built a stable practice in the communityMaintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standardsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and hospital committees as requiredEducate patients and community on women’s health topicsSupport teaching and mentoring of students, and clinical staffWork Schedule:Full-time schedule with clinic hours primarily Monday–FridayNo obstetric call (gynecology-only focus) Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary and incentive structureComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plansMalpractice coverage providedCME allowance and paid time offSupportive administrative and nursing staffQualificationsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & GynecologyActive, unrestricted PA medical license or eligibility for licensureCurrent DEA registrationMinimum of 3 years clinical experience in gynecology preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to patient-centered care and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team #J-18808-Ljbffr
