At Gimme Beauty (a Durham Enterprises Company), our mission is simple: creating a great place to work, and helping people remember, focus on, and celebrate what matters most. Now we're looking for an HR Generalist who wants to bring that mission to life every single day. This is a hands-on, people-first role. You'll be the go-to HR presence for our team — owning everything from recruiting and onboarding to benefits administration and HRIS maintenance in Paycom. You'll work closely with our VP Finance and partner with our outsourced HR support firm on employee relations, compliance, and policy, all while helping our people feel supported, valued, and set up to do their best work. What you'll do: Lead full-cycle recruiting — from job posting through offer letters and onboarding Own the new hire and offboarding experience, including Paycom setup and orientation Be a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR questions big and small Administer benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k) and support open enrollment Keep our HR data, records, and compliance efforts accurate and on track Partner with our HR support firm on employee relations and policy updates What you bring: A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field 2–4 years of HR generalist or coordinator experience Familiarity with Paycom or a similar HRIS/payroll platform (a plus!) Solid knowledge of employment law and HR compliance A calm, organized, discreet approach to juggling recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance all at once PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a nice-to-have, not a must Gimme Beauty is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
