Techo-Bloc designs and manufactures premium landscaping products — and we're looking for a detail-driven Maintenance Planner to keep our Rock Island, IL facility running at full speed. If you thrive on organization, problem-solving, and working cross-functionally with maintenance, production, and vendors, this is a role where your planning skills directly drive plant performance.

Job Description

$35–$40/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location:  Rock Island, IL

Job Description:

What you'll do:
As a key link between maintenance, production, and outside vendors, you'll plan and prioritize the work that keeps our equipment running. Day to day, you'll:

• Build maintenance schedules and generate work orders across all shifts
• Own the preventive/corrective maintenance program and keep it optimized
• Track department performance through the ERP system and report on key metrics
• Manage vendor relationships — sourcing quotes, technical documentation, and pricing
• Forecast and manage parts inventory (MRP) so the team always has what it needs
• Estimate labor and parts costs, and adjust plans when equipment breaks down
• Prepare purchase requisitions/POs and support parts room operations
• Occasionally assist outside normal hours for urgent needs
• Required to support other sites remotely

Qualifications

What you bring:

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance planning
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must be able to operate a forklift, man lift and other industrial equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, D365 and Microsoft AX (highly preferred)
• Purchasing and vendor management
• High level knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts
• Excellent planning and execution skills
• Be an excellent communicator
• Ability to work under pressure and with others for a common goal
