Job Summary:
The endoscopy and gastrointestinal (GI) laboratory is seeking a qualified nurse to join the team in San Bernardino, California. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing patient care within the Endoscopy/GI Lab environment, performing procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, and biopsies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: San Bernardino, California
• Schedule: Varied shifts, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday. Start times depend on the first case, with a 1-hour arrival prior.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of GI experience, current certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH stroke certification, and COVID-19 vaccination.
• Additional Information: Must have moderate sedation experience; Cerner charting experience preferred; hospital provides special scrubs; call duty required once per week during the evening (end of shift to 0700) and one weekend per month (48 hours).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, Crisis Protocol Approved.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in GI procedures or similar setting.
• Clinical Environment: Acute care setting with hospitalist or intensivist coverage, 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services.
• Shift Notes: 8-hour shifts, start times depend on first case, and staff need to arrive 1 hour prior.
