How You Will Create an Impact Evaluate and underwrite , new and renewal, submissions within your assigned territory to ensure profitable growth. Bringing our brand to life by ensuring consistent and impactful communication of our products and services to retail and wholesale brokers. Expanding broker relationships , both by strengthening existing partnerships and intentionally cultivating new ones in key markets. Representing Argo Group in client and broker meetings, demonstrating expertise and elevating customer experience. Building and managing a strong submission pipeline aligned with production goals and business mix targets. Leveraging market insights , using your contacts to generate business, gather intelligence, and crosssell complementary products. What You'll Need to Succeed In-depth knowledge of Inland Marine policies (Transportation, Physical Damage, Cargo, Builders Risk), including product nuances, compliance, and risk management that comes with your 3+ years of Inland Marine underwriting experience . Proficient negotiation and insurance underwriting skills. Adaptable and able to thrive within the ever-evolving market. Sharp analytical skills to navigate financial statements and complex data. Significant broker communication , networking, and relationship-building aptitude. Disciplined focus on execution, accuracy, and followthrough with a sense of urgency. The typical base salary range is $115,000 - $150,000 (based on experience and location). Additionally, this position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
