Position: Travel RN - Mother/Baby

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Location: Plano, TX

Number of Positions Available: 1-2

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel RN for our Mother/Baby unit. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and provide nursing care for mothers and newborns during the postpartum period.
• Monitor patient vital signs and health status, swiftly identifying any concerns.
• Educate mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information and nursing interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to mothers and families.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Prior experience in maternal/child health or a related area preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications preferred.
