Lead Advisor

Certified Financial Group is seeking an experienced Lead Advisor to join our team and become the primary advisor for an established group of client households through a planned advisor succession. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a senior advisor who plans to retire within the next 12 - 18 months, allowing for a thoughtful transition of long-standing client relationships. The successful candidate will gradually assume primary responsibility for these relationships and focus on delivering exceptional financial planning, investment guidance, and ongoing wealth management services. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary advisor for an established group of client households. Build trusted relationships with clients, spouses, beneficiaries, and next‑generation family members. Lead client meetings and provide comprehensive financial planning advice. Guide clients through retirement, tax, estate, and investment planning decisions. Deliver a proactive and personalized client experience. Collaborate with a team of advisors, client service professionals, operations staff, and compliance specialists. Ensure a smooth and successful transition of client relationships from the retiring advisor. Success will be measured by your ability to build trust, retain client relationships, deliver exceptional advice, and successfully transition clients from a retiring advisor. While opportunities for business development may naturally arise through referrals and existing relationships, the primary focus is serving clients and maintaining continuity of care. Qualifications 8+ years of financial planning and wealth management experience. Demonstrated success managing high‑net‑worth client relationships. Strong financial planning, retirement, tax, and investment knowledge. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Commitment to fiduciary advice and exceptional client service.
