TRAVEL LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a compassionate and dependable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract opportunity in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. The LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

SHIFT DETAILS

• Shift Time: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• Day Shift

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
• Pay Rate: $33.00 - $38.50 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) License in good standing
• Current BLS certification preferred
• Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or related healthcare experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately
• Monitor resident conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team
• Perform nursing assessments and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Educate residents and families regarding treatments and care plans
• Promote resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Competitive pay rate of $33.00 - $38.50 per hour
