Job Overview: Madmen Kitchen is seeking a skilled Line Cook (With room to grow) to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and the culinary arts to bring about excellent quality and presentation of dishes.

Responsibilities:

- Checking in daily with the Executive Chef for day to day tasks to be led and carried out - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in the food industry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team

*A Food Safety Certification of 5 years is required for this position, if you do not have this the employer will pay and provide you with one.

* The knowledge of how to speak and or understand basic Spanish is an advantage
