The Business Systems Analyst – Experienced operates with limited supervision and plays a key role in supporting business processes and enterprise technology systems. This position partners closely with business units and technical teams to ensure solutions meet company standards, user requirements, and strategic objectives. The role requires advanced analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and experience managing complex projects and system initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesElicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirementsPerform gap analysis and issue analysis to identify business needs and improvement opportunitiesTranslate and simplify business requirements into clear technical specificationsDesign, document, and maintain business and system processesIdentify and design business and/or system improvement opportunitiesAssist in the development of business cases for strategic initiativesProject & Delivery ManagementPlan, coordinate, and monitor project deliverablesManage small to mid-sized projects and/or project tasksApply knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project lifecycle principlesEnsure technology solutions meet company standards and user requirementsCollaboration & CommunicationServe as liaison between business units and technical teamsFacilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical resourcesManage requirements throughout the project lifecycleProvide guidance and feedback to less experienced staffWork collaboratively across departments to support enterprise initiativesRequired Experience5+ years of business analyst experienceProven experience supporting broad-impact, cross-functional systemsAdvanced skills in requirements elicitation for business processes and system functionalityAdvanced general analysis and gap analysis skillsExperience generating multiple types of business and/or process documentationExperience identifying and designing business/system improvementsAbility to coordinate and manage small-sized projects and tasksPreferred QualificationsProfessional Business Analyst certification (CBAP, CCBA, PBA) preferredCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently with limited supervisionStrong facilitation and stakeholder management skillsOrganizational and documentation expertiseKnowledge of enterprise systems and strategic solution designPay Range:$66,500.00 - $92,000.00Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
