Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing organization and support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts. Maintain and analyze general ledger activity. Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency. Collaborate with internal departments to support accounting and reporting needs. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 1–3+ years of accounting experience. Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
