Expected pay for this position is $31.49 - $37.05/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.Would consider a part time schedulePosition Summary:The Medical Social Worker is responsible for identifying socioeconomic and emotional factors that exist which are, or can be, an impediment to the effective treatment of the patient's medical condition or rate of recovery. This individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of the patient population served.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Education: Master's Degree in Social WorkLicensure/Certifications: Current state license to practiceCPR certification prior to start (American Heart Association certification)Valid driver's licenseOther: Working knowledge of human behavior/development and theories of social work processProficient with electronic documentation.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker1 year as Social Worker in home health care experienceOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
