Details Work in a general Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit, including Rehab Patient ratio of 1:6 Occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor as part of general Med/Surg duties Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Floating required No standing on-call schedule, though census-based on-call may occur prior to a scheduled shift Uses MedHost EMR 13-week assignment Requirements Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required BLS certification required ACLS and PALS certifications preferred Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers Additional Information Provide general Med/Surg nursing care to an adult patient population with occasional pediatric patients Scrubs of any color permitted Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible RTO requests must be less than one week Returning travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered First-time travelers may be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-729483.
