AppleTree Staffing is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations within a machining and assembly environment. This role is responsible for leading a team, meeting production goals, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently achieved.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and enjoys developing team members while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support team members to meet daily production targets
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Perform and verify quality checks using gauges, calipers, and micrometers
• Set up and adjust CNC machines, including tool changes and offsets
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve production issues quickly
• Monitor production metrics and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate with quality and leadership teams on production and quality concerns
• Perform basic preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Step into any process within the department as needed to support operations
• Support continuous improvement efforts (5S, Kaizen, Lean practices)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing experience required; leadership experience preferred
• Experience with CNC machines strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use quality measurement tools
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Comfortable using computers and production systems
• Experience with hand, pneumatic, and power tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for an entire shift
