Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: 19:00-07:00, with additional hours as needed.

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICU and CCU nursing, with the ability to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages. The position involves working in a Level III Trauma Center, ensuring the best outcomes for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EHR system. Participate in patient education and family support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 3+ years of critical care nursing experience in ICU and CCU settings. Completion of at least 2 travel assignments. ACLS, BLS, HWC, and NIH certifications required. Must possess a valid RN license in Tennessee. Experience with Meditech documentation is preferred.
