We have a career for you! Competitive pay range. Location: Shamokin Dam, PA; Kratzerville, PA. Now hiring: Direct Support Professional (DSP). Shift: Part-time, weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts available! Pay range: $17.00-$22.00 per hour.

Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated home care agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc. Job duties include:

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skills
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have current driver’s license
• Prior experience as a direct support professional (DSP)

Mobile device & EVV requirements:

This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates electronic visit verification (EVV) for home care/home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
