Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

SCHEDULE:
- 10-hour shifts
- 4 days a week (0700-1730)
- Call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Must be able to circulate in heavy orthopedic, urology, spine procedures, and robotic surgeries

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties.
- Use clinical judgment to identify and report changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
- Participate in continuing education and contribute to workplace wellness through effective communication.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES:
- Weekend and call requirements may vary based on departmental needs.
- May float to other facilities as needed.
