The Practice Manager oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations in a primary care center, ensuring operational excellence and the successful implementation of value-based care strategies. This role bridges administrative functions and clinical collaboration, promoting efficiency, patient satisfaction, and financial performance while ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.

Duties and responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, including patient flow, scheduling, staffing, and resource management; implementing and managing value-based care strategies in collaboration with clinical leadership; supervising and supporting staff performance, development, and team engagement; managing the center's Profit & Loss (P&L), including budgeting, expense control, and financial reporting; monitoring and analyzing KPIs related to patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency; leading quality improvement and patient experience initiatives aligned with care delivery goals; ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies; coordinating with other departments to support integrated care; maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff; and demonstrated experience in staff supervision, financial oversight, and operational leadership.

Qualifications/requirements include a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master's preferred), 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations management, including 2+ years managing medical clinics; basic understanding of value-based care models and healthcare regulations; strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare information systems; experience managing profit and loss (P&L) operations; effective decision-making and team management abilities.

Working conditions are general office working conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs, balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; talking or hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust your focus. Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals. The work environment is usually moderate noise level. Local travel between care centers may be required for coverage. Minimal hazards.
