Maple Creek Senior Living, one of Lakewood's leading affordable Assisted Living Facilities, is looking for a Full-Time Cook. In this role, you will collaborate with our talented cooks to prepare a variety of nutritious meals for our residents, staff, and visitors. Help us make a meaningful difference by contributing to the well‑being of our 100 residents. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs and enhance your culinary skills every day! Cook Responsibilities: Maintain a clean kitchen and efficiently wash and sort dishes. Prepare food as needed while keeping the dish area organized and clutter‑free. Ensure clean and dry floors throughout your shift. Change water in machines and sinks every two hours or as needed, following EcoLab's chemical dilution guidelines. Assist with timely food storage after deliveries. Manage trash disposal during the shift and remove full cans and boxes at the end of the day. Organize the dry storage area and maintain orderly shelves. Assist in food preparation and other tasks as directed by the chef. Qualifications / Skills: Strong customer service orientation Excellent planning and multitasking abilities Self‑motivated with high energy Good verbal communication skills Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: High school diploma or GED Preferred experience in a hospitality‑related kitchen Current food handler’s card and any other certifications required by federal/state/local laws Join us and bring your passion for cooking to a rewarding environment where you can learn and grow!
