Job Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our busy TCU Transitional Care Unit in Edina, MN - Aurora on France TCU. The position includes: 16 hours per two weeks Evening shift Every other weekend Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. It offers 136 units with a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Provides skilled nursing care such as: Implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies Operating medical equipment and charting practices Lifts and transfers residents as needed, initiates emergency treatment as needed Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff Updates RN with current observations and completes documentation of resident health status Communicates changes in resident conditions to relevant individuals May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans Required MN LPN licensure AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS) Able to work independently Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Previous healthcare experience Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, phones and fax machine Benefit Overview Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
