Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Support MedVet facilities for needs across the network (Campbell, Silicon Valley, Mountain View) and respond to facilities-related requests in a timely manner. Develop and maintain open communication with all organizational levels, including handling complaints, conflict resolution, and fire and life safety system testing considerations. Acknowledge requests within 24 hours, prioritize based on urgency, and proactively communicate ticket status and resolution estimates. Complete and/or delegate project tasks; manage assigned projects from definition to execution (e.g., small retrofits, remodels, equipment installations). Inspect interior and exterior building conditions and follow up on any deficiencies. Maintain fire and life safety systems per local codes to protect clients and employees. Manage and oversee equipment or asset inventory. Oversee facilities areas including equipment maintenance, service providers, safety, and small projects. Provide facilities-related on‑call support. MedVet provides all tools necessary to complete job assignments. Qualifications 1+ year of facilities operations/maintenance experience. Ability to support day-to-day maintenance operations and carry out maintenance functions with quality workmanship. Hands-on experience with building repairs and managing small, medium, and large projects. Previous experience using power tools. Familiarity with automated building systems, EMS (Energy Management Systems), and other enterprise software is a plus. Experience using Microsoft Office programs. Experience with computer maintenance management systems and help desk systems is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 50% between locations in Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington KY, and Indianapolis IN.
