Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

Required Skills/Experience: Large hospital experience required. No first-time travelers.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Total care unit. Nurse aid/patient care tech ratios vary. Remote tele monitoring; only occasional strip reading. RNs are not required to titrate drips. Respiratory is readily available to assist; nasal cannula is used on the floors. Surgical services include colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and ortho. Medical conditions include diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and GI conditions. Charge nurse takes an assignment. Transitioning to Epic in 11/2026.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No holiday requirement. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float pool between Med/Onc, 2 surgical units, and 2 medical units; assignments are based on need areas within any Med/Surg pod.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
