Position Summary

Our client is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to grow their customer base, increase job volume, and help drive their growth. This is a hunter role at its core: you'll be prospecting, quoting, and closing new business, backed by strong internal support on pricing, job approval, and delivery.

Essential Duties

Sales & Business Development 

• Prospect and develop new accounts across target segments: independent repair shops, performance builders, fleet operators, dealerships, and industrial customers 

• Opportunity Qualification 

• Own the full sales cycle: outbound outreach, quoting, follow-up, and closing 

• Reactivate dormant accounts and grow revenue with existing customers 

• Objection handling 

Account Management 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer accounts 

• Track activity, follow-ups, and deal stages in our HubSpot (CRM), keeping customer touches logged promptly 

• Monitor open invoices and coordinate with the office on collections — commission is earned on collected accounts receivable, not invoice date 

• Customer communicaiton 

Pipeline & Reporting 

• Maintain an active, well-documented pipeline with clear stages and expected close dates 

• Meet or exceed the standards set by the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

Qualifications

Required 

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales or account management experience with a track record of closing new business 

• Hunter Mentality: Comfortable with Cold Outreach, Local business visits, industrial account development, referral generation, networking, strategic account targeting 

• Strong communicator, comfortable in shops, at counters, and in front of fleet managers and owners 

• Self-starter who can manage a territory independently and stay organized using a CRM: If not documented, it did not happen 

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits 

Preferred 

• Background in automotive, powertrain, heavy equipment, or industrial sales 

• Existing shop, dealer, or fleet relationships in the region
