Senior Contract Specialist (Direct Hire) Job Title: Senior Contract Specialist Location: Bothell, WA | Onsite Pay Rate: $105,000 – $135,000 annually Employment Type: Direct Hire Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and LTD, 401k with matching, PTO, Family Leave

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Contracts Specialist for a global leader in defense ordnance and weapons systems manufacturing, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in contract administration and procurement looking to further their career in defense or government contracting. Prepares, examines, negotiates, and revises contracts to ensure alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and management objectives Manages acquisition, distribution, and storage of purchases; maintains and audits centralized contract-resource files and ensures procedural controls are in place Evaluates contract compliance and advises stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations; ensures all negotiation clarifications and amendments are incorporated into final contracts Prepares bids and RFPs including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

5–7 years of contract administration or procurement experience; Associate's degree required, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and ability to exercise independent judgment

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
