This role is ideal for an environmental professional who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment and brings strong technical expertise in petroleum site assessment, remediation, regulatory compliance, and client management.The successful candidate will oversee environmental projects from initiation through closure while coordinating technical teams, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage environmental assessment and remediation projects under Florida's PRP frameworkCoordinate and oversee activities including:Site assessmentsSource removalRemedial action planningGroundwater monitoringRemediation system operations and maintenanceSite closure activitiesPrepare and review technical reports, work plans, proposals, and cost estimatesEnsure compliance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) regulations and PRP requirementsManage project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and subcontractorsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, and project stakeholdersLead, mentor, and support junior technical staffSupport business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships Job Requirements QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience managing environmental remediation projectsDirect experience with Florida PRP projects and FDEP regulationsStrong technical writing, communication, and organizational skillsExperience managing project budgets, schedules, and client deliverablesValid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites throughout FloridaPreferredFlorida Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience with petroleum remediation technologiesKnowledge of CTS, ATC, SRCO, and related Florida petroleum restoration programsOSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificationPId1e48c8e04c8-25403-40532702
