LPN - Long Term Care - Pay Rate: $36.00+ per hour - Evening Shifts

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in providing exceptional care in long-term care facilities. This will be a full-time evening's contract position, 13 weeks, doing 5x8, every other weekend and holiday. Position Overview:

• Deliver professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health status and report any changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and health information.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current and valid NY State LPN license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery.
