Trauma Neurosurgeon | Level I Trauma Center
Position Details- Position: Trauma Neurosurgeon
- Location: Central Florida
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Setting: Inpatient
- Program: Trauma Department
Join a busy American College of Surgeons verified Level I Trauma Center as a dedicated trauma neurosurgeon. The position is focused on trauma neurosurgical care with APP support and a full trauma service line.
Key Responsibilities- Provide trauma neurosurgical care under the trauma department.
- Manage neurotrauma alerts and trauma consultations.
- Manage follow-up clinic care.
- Participate in peer review, program improvement and trauma-center verification activities.
- Participate in quality rounds.
- Board eligible or board certified in Neurosurgery.
- Spine fellowship training is preferred.
- Trauma neurosurgery experience preferred.
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
- Area's only ACS-verified Level I trauma center
- Serves five counties and more than 1 million residents
- Dedicated APP support
