Accountant (Non-Profit Industry) Location: Atlanta, GA – Local Candidates Only Pay Rate: $26-28 per hour Type: Temp to Hire / Onsite Company Overview The Intersect Group is partnering with a mission driven nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful impact within the community. This organization is experiencing an exciting transformation, including the build out of its internal accounting function and the implementation of NetSuite. Role Summary We are seeking an Accountant to support day to day accounting operations, assist with a NetSuite implementation, and contribute to building a strong internal accounting foundation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with finance leadership while playing a key role in accounts payable, month end close, grant accounting, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions and vendor payments Code expenses and invoices to appropriate grants and funding sources Prepare journal entries and support month end close activities Create accounts receivable invoices and process cash receipts Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records Track grant activity and maintain supporting documentation Support NetSuite operations, reporting, and process improvements Assist with audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements Key Requirements 3+ years of accounting experience Experience with accounts payable and journal entries NetSuite experience strongly required Experience with Bill.com preferred Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Apply Today If you are an accounting professional with NetSuite experience looking for an opportunity to make an immediate impact, please submit your resume and contact information for consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
