NX Product Designer
Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking several NX Product Designers to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Prepare design layouts on complex units and mechanisms
- Make design computations as required
- Prepare general specifications, such as bills of materials
- Work with layout drafters and detailers to achieve completed design
- Develop creative drawings from design objectives established by others
- Use manual or computer skills to complete design drawings
- Meet all customer requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in product design
- Experience in modeling from assembly drawings/packages
- Sheet metal and/or structural design experience
- Solid modeling and assembly design experience
- Analytical ability to recognize and solve design and mechanical problems
- Oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates in vehicle design or product development
- Powertrain, chassis, or body design
- Electrical design – routing & packaging
