Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Los Alamos, NM
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our ICU department. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in managing critically ill patients and demonstrate expertise in ventilator management and titrating continuous medications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for ICU patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
- Monitor and manage ventilators and continuous medication infusions.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have a valid RN license to practice in New Mexico.
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
- Experience with ventilator management and continuous medication titration is required.
