The Assistant Manager role for a Surcheros restaurant is an incredible opportunity to anchor or boost your career. We are seeking motivated Managers with excellent interpersonal and business management skills. The Assistant Manager maintains accountability for the efficient and profitable operation of the restaurant; the consistent delivery of customer service to all guests; the leadership and development of team members; the creation and maintenance of an environment of trust, credibility, dignity, and respect. The Manager exercises independent judgment and sets the standard in the day-to-day performance of job duties. The Assistant Managers are vital to the success of their team members and the restaurant’s growth. Job Qualifications The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position. Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to work a minimum of 9 hours per day Flexible availability - can work 2 opens, 2 closes and a mid each week Minimum 2 Years Quick Casual or Quick Service Restaurant Management Experience Capabilities Requirement: Manage all personnel on each shift, including Crew Members and Prep Cooks. Inventory management: the management of food costs. Ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks and checklists are being completed correctly. Hiring and scheduling staff to provide quality guest experience while managing labor and productivity Ensure that daily cash drawers, safe and credit cards are balanced. Operate the store to meet or exceed budgeted operating goal. Ensure that all product quality standards are met. Create an environment of quality within your store. Lead a team well and coach the performance of others. Ensure that your team members provide the best guest service Set high standards for guests and consistently hold everyone to those high standards Make guests feel welcome and important Provide knowledge, guidance, and training to team members to exceed guest expectations with fast, accurate, friendly service in clean surroundings Address and resolving guest complaints quickly and with a Smile Maximize profits by optimizing Profits & Loss and other financials Managing inventory, labor costs, food costs, and overall controls of financials Overall accountability of the restaurant #J-18808-Ljbffr
